The call for Lithuanian studies in the spring semester at Vytautas Magnus University is now open. The course starts on 1 February and ends on 31 May 2023. Participating students are exempted from the tuition fee; they will also have their travelling expenses covered and will receive a scholarship on a monthly basis (on February, March, April, May – 630 Eur).

The call for Lithuanian studies in the spring semester at Vilnius University is now open. The course starts on 6 February 2022 and ends on 31 May 2023. Participating students are exempted from the tuition fee; they will also have their travelling expenses covered and will receive a scholarship on a monthly basis (February – 504 Eu/moth; March, April, May – 630 Eur / month).
The deadline for submitting the application is December 5.
Priority is given to students who participate in project activities for the first time.
Students will be offered not only courses of Lithuanian as a foreign language (levels A1, A2, B1, B2, and C1), but also courses in literature, linguistics, history, and culture. The Lithuanian language teaching is based on the communicative method. The main language of instruction is Lithuanian, except for grammar explanations, which will be provided in English and Russian. REGISTRATION FOR STUDENT INTERNSHIPS AT VYTAUTAS MAGNUS UNIVERSITY
Student internship at Vytautas Magnus University is an opportunity for students of undergraduate, graduate or doctoral programs to acquire professional training in different fields, improve their language skills, get acquainted with Lithuania more closely, collect materials for their research papers and theses in the field of Lithuanian studies.
The starting date of the internship is confirmed with each trainee individually. For incoming students, travel expenses are covered, and a monthly scholarship is paid (570 Eur per month). In total, we expect to receive 12 trainees at VMU, and we plan to welcome 4 students in 2019.
We are open to applications throughout the year, and we process them on an ongoing basis.

EDUCATIONAL CAMP TO LEARN THE LITHUANIAN LANGUAGE, CULTURE AND HISTORY
We kindly invite you to register for the Educational Camp organised by Vytautas Magnus University. The Educational Camp the aim of which is to familiarise participants with the Lithuanian language, culture and history will take place in Aukštaitija on the 1st-12th of July 2020. Duration of the Educational Camp is 12 days (80 academic hours).
We welcome students from centres for Baltic studies. The following expenses will be covered: travelling, accommodation and meals.

THE QUALIFICATION COURSES
The Qualification Development Courses for university teachers are organized in Vilnius on the 20th–24th of January 2020. The estimated number of participants is 33.
We kindly invite the participants to arrive on the 19th of January. Departure from the courses is planned on the 25th of January.
The Qualification Development Courses are organized by Vilnius University.
Travelling, accommodation costs in Vilnius and Druskininkai, and all programmes in Druskininkai are covered from the project “Lithuanian Academic Scheme for International Cooperation in Baltic Studies” (No. 09.3.1-ESFA- V-709- 01-0002).

EDUCATIONAL CAMP TO LEARN
THE LITHUANIAN LANGUAGE, CULTURE AND HISTORY
We kindly invite you to register for the Educational Camp organised by Vytautas Magnus University. The Educational Camp the aim of which is to familiarise participants with the Lithuanian language, culture and history will take place in Aukštaitija on the 1st-12th of July 2019. Duration of the Educational Camp is 12 days (80 academic hours).
We welcome students from centres for Baltic studies. The following expenses will be covered: travelling, accommodation and meals.

We kindly invite you to register for the Dialectological Expedition organised by Vytautas Magnus University. The Expedition will be launched in Žemaitija (Samogitia) on the 24th–30th of June 2019.

THE CALL FOR THE LITHUANIAN LANGUAGE WINTER COURSE AT VILNIUS UNIVERSITY IS NOW OPEN
The application period for the Lithuanian Language Winter Course has started. The course will be held at Vilnius University from January 7 to 18, 2019.
The incoming students will have their travel expenses covered and will receive the scholarship of 266 EUR.

The Qualification Development Courses
The Qualification Development Courses for university teachers are organized in Druskininkai on the 12th–16th of November 2018. The estimated number of participants is 30.
We kindly invite the participants to arrive on the 11th of November (accommodation in Vilnius for a night; going to Druskininkai on the 12th of November). Departure from the courses in Druskininkai is planned on the 16th of November (accommodation in Vilnius for a night). Departure from Vilnius is on the 17th of November.
The Qualification Development Courses are organized by Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences.
Travelling, accommodation costs in Vilnius and Druskininkai, and all programmes in Druskininkai are covered from the project “Lithuanian Academic Scheme for International Cooperation in Baltic Studies” (No. 09.3.1-ESFA- V-709- 01-0002).
The deadline for registration is the 15th of September 2018.

CALL FOR LITHUANIAN STUDIES AT VILNIUS UNIVERSITY, AUTUMN SEMESTER 2018
The course starts on 3 September 2018 and ends on 21 December 2018. Participating students are exempted from the tuition fee; they will also have their travelling expenses covered and will receive a scholarship on a monthly basis (551 Eur in September; 570 Eur in October; 570 Eur in November; 404.52 Eur in December).
Registration deadline is 31 May 2018.

Students will be offered courses of the Lithuanian language (levels A1, A2, B1, B2, and C1). The Lithuanian language teaching is based on the communicative method. The main language of instruction is Lithuanian, except for grammar explanations, which will be provided in English and Russian for beginners. CALL FOR THE SUMMER COURSE AT VU AND VMU
The call for the Lithuanian language summer course at Vilnius University is now open. The summer course will take place in Vilnius on 2-27 July 2018. 5 students will be admitted. Participating students will have their travelling expenses covered and will receive a scholarship (around 532 Eur). Some cultural and educational activities will be offered to the course participants.

The summer course at Vytautas Magnus University will take place in Kaunas on 16 July – 11 August 2018. 28 students will be admitted to the course. The duration of the course is 100 academic hours (6 ECTS). Participating students will have their travelling expenses covered and will receive a scholarship (around 532 Eur). The course participants will be also offered some cultural and educational activities.

The call for Lithuanian studies in the spring semester at Vilnius University is now open. The course starts on 5 February 2018 and ends on 31 May 2018. Participating students are exempted from the tuition fee; they will also have their travelling expenses covered and will receive a scholarship on a monthly basis (570 Eur / month).
The deadline for submitting the application is November 15.
Priority is given to students who participate in project activities for the first time.
Students will be offered not only courses of Lithuanian as a foreign language (levels A1, A2, B1, B2, and C1), but also courses in literature, linguistics, history, and culture.
